Through the generosity of CEG, White Light, Autograph Sound and the Backstage Trust, Second Stage has been able to deliver technical and skills training to residents. By providing equipment and workshops the men have been trained in the valuable skills to work the equipment independently.
The prisoners are able to hold regular performances with the participants also designing and operating the lighting and sound equipment themselves.
Working collaboratively on these experiences in the Visits Hall is another step in the men’s journey to rehabilitation as well as equipping them with valuable skills affording them more opportunities for employment on release.
