Our First Community Day with No Going Back

We ran our first Community Day in conjunction with No Going Back in October, bringing together around 20 men who have recently been released from prison or living with a conviction. The day gave participants a real insight into the world of backstage work, with three live events companies sharing their experiences and holding one-to-one interviews with each attendee.  Alongside these practical opportunities, inspirational speakers shared their journeys, while plenty of tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits kept energy levels high!  It was a whirlwind of a day, but we met some incredible individuals eager to move forward and leave their past behind - and their gratitude for the support and opportunities on offer was truly moving.  Already, five of the men are working shifts with industry professionals Steel Deck and Pirate Crew, a fantastic start to new careers in the industry.
